The New Regensburger hut is surrounded by numerous mountain tops which can form the base of many tours. The most frequented being the Stubaier Höhenweg. Additional crossings exist to other huts with different degrees of difficulty for hikes and climbs.
Before the evening meal is served, one can try and master the climbing wall adjacent to the hut. Our glacial lake, surrounded by an undulating moss carpet, invites those who are brave enough to quickly dip into the fresh water before dinner.
